The House of Representatives has voted 355 to 21 to launch a federal investigation into whether Rockstar Games intentionally misrepresented Grand Theft Auto to the voluntary, private, completely non-statutory ratings board so they could have the game rated as being only appropriate for adults instead of being... well, only appropriate for adults.

I am wishing uncontrollable bowel spasms on 355 people right now. I demand poo-smelling suits and business dresses on the House floor. Writhe in your soil, silly wasters of public time and money.

As an addendum, I'm finished buying software at Best Buy. I'm tired enough of the "protect the children" hysteria so that I'm going to withhold my business from any retailer with a policy of going out of their way to avoid selling adult material to adults.
